That post didn’t age well. I come back after 4 hours of working on the property & in fact we ööööed the firing up almost as bad as we could possibly imagine. We have retained the 117th rated DC & an OL coach that excels at training matadors. Surprised you didn’t retain Goober because he at least performed better than the other 3 clowns we did keep. Congrats. You got what you wanted, 1 more year with as many of the current regime’s cronies sucking the life out of our program as you could get away with. Awesome for GT football, right? Guess I’ll have to be content hoping we don’t completely implode next year & the disaster doesn’t get exponentially worse.

I did what now? Think you got the wrong guy. I’m ok with an extra year for CGC, but I’d have been ok with a termination IF we start matching compensation budget and hiring targets with program expectations.

I think it’s ridiculous that our fans want to have bottom quartile P5 coaching compensation but top 20 coaching results.

Liberty is probably ridiculously unrealistic, yes, but Are we really paying bottom quartile?

Nobody right now is expecting top 20 results. Can someone look at our coaching salary and tell us what WL ratio that should get us? I think a lot of teams are bowling with lower coaching salaries. I think we are way overpaying for 3-9.

Something is rotten in Denmark if CBK and Thacker are retained, while PNode is fired.

PNode's downfall was CBK's crappy OLine coaching, PNode could move the Ball and score if given a decent OLine.

I have no idea how Thacker is retained.

I had been giving CGC a long leash, due to the Talent we lack on both LoS's, but these firings are head scratchers.

CBK & Thacker should've been fired in the post uga Presser with an apology for allowing their poor Coaching to negatively impact our Season.

With these unsatisfying firings, I'm not sure I can trust who will be hired to replace those let go.

This is almost as bad as 55 - 0 and 45 - 0
 
All of this is a band aid on a bullet wound. We’ll be better next year because statistically it’s darn near impossible not to be. But that doesn’t mean we are on the right path. We simply whiffed with the Collins hire. It happens. The post Johnson decade will be one to forget.

If baffles me that any fan cares how much we pay our coach (except insofar as it prevents us from paying a different coach).

Last I saw, we were 46th in P5 among 51 schools who have salaries public.

Does your source think this coach at dwag land is considering us? I think some people are just throwing out names. I think the odds of anyone with that current job considering coming to us are extremely low with the run that Bowl Head Smart might be on the cusp of beginning.

Even though the turf is defective, why can't the GTAA repaint the lettering, yard numbers , and yard lines before Games, is paint that expensive?

Now we have a grounds & maintenance crew that is delivering half assed results.

Even HS's re-line their fields before Games, does anyone in the GTAA have any fvckin' Pride?

We're worse than G5 Programs.

GT should do everything in a class manner that reflects the "high ideals" of the Institute!

And many of the privates like ND, Stanford, Northwestern, Miami definitely pay more than we do, only BC & Vandy pay salaries like we do, all the other Privates pay more
