Dwags want access to Buster through playoffs...

I find it really hard to believe all of this wasn't already worked out before contract signed.
Just more evidence that we’re not serious about football and Cabrera is a major charlatan.

The funny thing is this is actually an example of us being serious about winning. This is common practice in major football and actually shows we hired someone who matters a lot to a top program.
Yea but öööö the dwags. Being hired from uga is one thing. Working for both us and them for any period of time and then the first game we lose people are gonna start asking if he’s still working for the dwags. This is not about common practice. If he wants to start off on a good foot here he needs to know this is a no go.

Since he's not an on-field coach, there's little chance his impact during their game will be significant, and for us to possibly claim later on that he helped coach a team to National Championship likely has more value for us than the Dwags. Wouldn't be surprised if he's requesting to stay for the benefit of his resume......

It’s like we convert a major from the third reich over to our side and then Hitler says well he’s still got a month left on his contract so we can finish invading France and some of you say well he’s got a point this is common practice and it’s just France. That’s what this thread reads like to me.

Too much is being made of this. If Key doesn't want him to stay on with the dwags for the CFP then Key can tell him then its up to him what to do after that.

Unlike some of the hardasses in here, Key is going to do what's best for our recruiting which is what I think this boils down to. And Key isn't exactly a dwag fan so there's that.

No

This is so naive. This is the critical moment for this staff and program. Faulkner’s decision to coach or not for the Dawgs will make or break this staff. It’s imperative that Key and Cabrera get this right. And the right decision will likely be the opposite of what they choose.

Yea, but Geoff "Maginot" Collins spent the whole time talking about building an elite defensive line that stops tanks at a high level. Didn't actually build öööö. And now the Hitler that fellates his German Shepard is coming back next season, probably after winning another MNC and I'm not entirely inclined to give UGA enough of a reason to club us more.

That said, I would hope that Buster puts in a Wally like effort.

This is the attitude that makes us lose just one game to uga every year.
When Spurrier got to South Carolina he took down every sign that said “Beat Clemson”. He said that dwelling on that didn’t help then in the long run. They then beat Clemson 5 times in a row.

On the other hand, what if CBK knows this is the guy and he told CBK that he had a contract to honor. Would you say 'öööö him' then? He wouldn't have been available for recruiting (like traveling to College Station).

That’s fine, Key can take their signs down saying beat uga. We’re not sending a man over to enemy camp.

I don’t dwell in what ifs. I see what this looks like and I’m gonna keep yelling until I know we’re not sending our OC to help uga win a national title. Would you like him to wear his uga hoodie during the playoffs too?

And then the major comes over to our side and kicks Hitler's ass all the way back to Athens, er, Berlin, at which point Kirby, er, Hitler realizes the war is unwinnable before suiciding himself.

Okay, jts, you do you.

Again maybes and whatifs. What does it say about uga that they feel they can’t win without an analyst so they have to go to their arch rival who hired him as OC and borrow him for a month. What does it say about us when CBK declares war on uga and then lets his OC go back over for a month? What else? Is Kirby gonna call Faulkner before COFH and ask him about our game plan too?
