I'm saying the fitness of our players improved with Caralla. Lots of pictures were shared with lots of gainz.

I wasn't.
He just wasn't very good at his job. If his job were to make great promotional videos, then yeah, he's a star. But we were weaker and slower over his time here. He should have been among the first round of firings after the 2021 season.
Perhaps the folks Key has brought in can change that.

Good. They can audition for Magic Mike 4: The ATL.
But none of that s--- helped them be better football players. In fact, we got worse.
 
I would say Caralla shouldn't be free of some blame, but I believe most of it came from Collins. HC's usually give direction to their S&C staff, and I think it's very evident our HC didn't take any advice or criticism well if there was any pushback. I compare it to hiring a 5 star chef and telling him to microwave you some canned ravioli.

If Caralla wasn’t a part of the problem Key wouldn’t have gotten rid of him. Yes they looked muscular but if that translated to football then body builders would beat everyone in football.

I think Key was gonna get rid of any coach or staffer that was seen as too buddy buddy with Gef. Thacker must have had some really hateful things to say to pass the loyalty test.

Normally i might say let’s check back in a year and see if Caralla got back into a P5 program, but he’s got young kids now per his Twitter feed and might want to settle in for a while. Charlotte could be a perfect fit for him.

If there was one glaring thing that always seemed to stand out during those dark times, it was our lack of speed. I don't remember a single game where we could say our guys were faster than the other guys. Never.

I’m sure that’s what he was hoping out of GT job too. His kids are all very young. His daughter was on my daughters softball team a year ago. His son was prophetic talking to another kid, “I’m a Yankees fan because we lived in buffalo, but we move a lot because of my dads job”

Back when I was a freshman living in Glenn Hall, I used to microwave them and then put them inside a slice of white bread with a slice of American cheese and ketchup. Dinner of champions. It’s also good to wear a jacket with many pockets so you can grab many chicken patties from Brittain dining hall for later consumption.
