The GT Logo

VT's logo is quite lame, mostly because it is so ill-proportioned. It is obviously an attempt to emulate our connected letter, but doesn't really work. Their old one, which I don't know how to post here, is much better.

The Blessed Sacrament basketball program (for gradeschool kids) in Hamilton, Ontario uses the Buzz logo.

Up here the Garner Trojans, blue and gold, use our interlocking GT emblem a lot. It was on the center of their field this year. Their basketball team wore an away gold with the GT on the pants to play our local high school a few games ago - it was hard not to like them with the GT emblem.

Truth. The basketball gym also got redone with a blue GT logo at midcourt.

Forgot to share a reason why using the GT and gold colors is not coincidence at Garner Senior in the Raleigh area - their head baseball coach is a great guy and Tech alum - Derik Goffena. He loves the Jackets!

I'd rather have a black GT on a gold background than the stupid navy blue logo that ESPN uses.

I'll second that. We are not the blue jackets, as the new espn logo suggests. You can hardly even see the tiny GT on the new logo, either.
