Calvin Johnson... mediocre pro.

Season high 78 receptions in previous 3 year career. Has had 5 passes thrown to him today, caught 1. Can't get separation from defenders. An incredibly overrated fantasy player.

I just can't figure Calvin out. The QB situation in Detroit may have sucked in years past but it shouldn't suck so bad that his numbers would be this low. I know he was injured some last year.

His career thus far has been very underwhelming.

Baloney. Watch his Lions highlight compilations on youtube. Kid can get some separation from NFL DBs. WTF can a guy do when you have Orlovksy throwing to you last year and Shaun Hill throwing to you this year.

80% of the time he's running routes he gets no separation and I've watched almost all of Detroit's games over the past 3 seasons. Just had a Cornerback step in front of the play on him and intercept the ball AS I'M TYPING THIS!

An interception you say? Sounds like the WR's fault to me.

When it is a curl route and he fails to block the man out and the corner beats him back to the ball, its just as much the WR fault as it is the QB.

I'm fairly certain everyone who's played in Detroit for the last three seasons has been underwhelming.

Turns out, those corner-backs in the NFL are pretty good too. He's a good pro.

Announcer just said, "Where's Calvin Johnson been this game, he needs to step up and make some plays."

Hey just saying. Calvin has been a mediocre pro and hasn't performed up to a second overall draft pick's paycheck. You expect a guy like that to catch more then one pass in a game. Especially when he's had 7 bals thrown at him.

Calvin just ran a crappy route short of the marker and almost dropped the ball. Announcers are both ragging him now.

Once again, I have to ask - "Who on the Detroit Lions hasn't been mediocre over the last three years?"

Being drafted by the Lions is like being drafted by the Clippers. You're destined to suck, unless you leave town.

If Detroit thinks Calvin is an underacheiver, I'm sure there would be some teams willing to take him off their hands.

Yeah, he's awful. Maybe they should trade him to Atlanta. I'd give up Finneran for him.

BOR is right to some degree, but in CJ's defense he's in Detroit. Its were careers go to die. I really hope he can get out of there soon.

Its ****ing Detroit. The only place worse is Oakland. Inept would be too nice for those organizations.
