The offense definitely sucked it up in the 2nd half but the defense contributed to that by starting a panic that spread through the team.

I lived through Bill Curry's first years, the Bill Lewis era, and Bobby Ross' first years. And, after all that, after many Tech fans fell away because they couldn't take it any more, I saw us win the national championship under Ross and beat Georgia three years in a row under O'Leary. I was totally frustrated for much of today, too. But, I will never quit being a Tech fan. Tech is like the stock market. She always comes back.

It will be popular to throw CPJ under the bus; but the truth is he is a better coach than the Institute will allow him to demonstrate (Same was probably true about Gailey the more I think about it). We might have felt different today about the state of the program if we hadn't lost 2 potential difference makers to academics during the off season.

Solid analysis, aero. I think you're dead on. The problem, IMO, is not with CPJ (even though he's an easy target for numerous reasons). He simply isn't given the support from GTAA on up to achieve what our fans believe we deserve.

I would hate to see what another coach would be doing given the same situation. Likewise, it'd be fascinating to see CPJ at a school with more school-wide support. The way things are going, that day may be getting here.
