Gurley Suspended for NCAA Violations

Should we start one to deport him to a North Korean prison camp as a result of his high crimes against dwag nation?

David Green on 92.9 saying he can't help but think Gurley was set up.

If he misses one, and they lose the SEC east because of Mizzou, I'll be happy. That alone would be a great gift of mutthurt.

If they prove this it is highly likely a number of games, if not all the games, he has played in would be forfeited thereby making it impossible to go to the SEC championship game.

I read it was about $400 in benefits which is a 2 game suspension per NCAA rules. Not sure if true.

Heard some gagger on WSB say "this is one of those moments where you'll always remember where you were when it happened" and then started taking shots at Bobo.

Alleged details coming in about being paid $400 for autographs last spring. We had to vacate all games played with a player who became ineligible the moment he accepted about $300. Gurley should have been ineligible for all games to date.

I will wager that Gurley will cut a check for $400 tomorrow and be eligible for the Missouri game Saturday.

If that happens, I would dance if a terrorist attack took out the NCAA offices and all within.

Todays like today make me wish I still lived in georgia so that I could taste the tears of all these mutthurt dwags.

Good info this link.

Looks like it'll be a 1 game suspension.

Per NCAA bylaws, a withholding penalty for a post-enrollment acceptance of money can be applied as a suspension depending on the value of the benefit.

If the value of the impermissable pay is $100 or less, the player must repay the amount he or she received. If the value of the pay is greater than $100 to $400, a 10 percent withholding penalty is applied in addition to the repayment. That withholding penalty increases to 20 percent for amounts greater than $400 to $700, and from 30 percent to potential permanent ineligibilty for amounts greater than $700.

Penalties for a 12-game football season are generally one game for a 10 percent penalty, two games for a 20 percent penalty, and four games for a 30 percent penalty.

Prepare your .gifs for when it comes to only 1 game.

I detest the Dwags but I hate it for the kid. He is a horse. There's no telling what the NCAA will do but from a selfish point of view, he would (will) shred our defense so if there is something to this maybe he is gone for the season.

He'll be suspended one game at most, probably none. The NCAA is very lenient on self reporters.
