im assuming Freude means pleasure because Germans are sick bastards and they're probably thinking of their moms to pleasure themselves.

'Freude' translates more directly as 'happiness' but in that context it is the happiness at others misfortune, so more like a guilty pleasure (the way the words pleasure and happiness are used in english)

but yeah, Germans are sick bastards. two Fräuleins, one Becher

yes, i got the Freud reference

I have no idea what a weeaboo is. What am I missing?

Do you know a person who is overly crazy and won't shut the hell up about Japan and is willing to tell you about how great it is at all times whether or not you care? They generally do talk about Anime/Manga but they aren't limited to that. That's a weeaboo.

Yes. I know several kids like that. And they'll pretend that they know Japanese but actually speak no more than a few words of it

So who's going to go see Shin Godzilla? It looks pretty good.

Because it is made by Toho, I will most certainly catch it on DVD or TV. It will not be like that Hollywood bullshit that has come out previously.

Was that weeaboo?! :scared:

I'm going to go see it. If you've followed the Godzilla though, prepare for some interesting changes to the character. The director likes to repeat themes from his previous works and I'm fairly certain takes LSD to get ideas for his scripts.
