CPJ cant manage a close game

You have no guts, no balls. You're a child and a pussy. You're only here to bitch. Shut your catastrophically retarded mouth. Preferably around the business end of a revolver.

You are a ööööing piece of öööö.
same suggestion but with rope or a razor blade.
not worth wasting a bullet IMO.

If we make the 4th downs, everyone is saying PJ is a great game manager. I’m just glad we got a coach with the pride to go for it. Sometimes we make it. Sometimes we don’t. But he’s gonna keep going for it

Agreed - CPJ didn't have some masterful game management in the 2nd half today. <50% on 3rd down, 25% on 4th down, and 3 or 4 turnovers. Didn't press the refs on spots..... the 2 INTs in the final minutes by Carpenter and Anree weren't on him. Honestly, the best thing he did in the 2nd half was call the timeout on the final kickoff to prevent a return. Without Nate Woody today is a loss.

If he doesn't get credit for the 2 INTs, then he doesn't get the blame for the 3 fumbles, right? Without those today is a blowout.

I actually agree he struggles in some close game management, but the problem is more so putting teams away than playing them close.
I DONT CARE IF WE WIN EVERY GAME WITH PAUL JOHSUN. WE NEED A PRO STYLE COACH TO GET ATHLETES READY FOR THE NFL PAIL JOHNSUN IS INLY CONCERJED ABOUT WINNING AT GERGIA TEK AND WE SHOULD THINK ABOUT THESE KIDS FUTURS IN TEH NFL

It is somebody's job to teach players how to carry the ball to minimize fumbles. And there is some number of fumbles that demonstrate they're not learning the lesson.
Coach said this in post game presser. I know you're aware, but for folks who haven't checked it out. Ken asking awkward questions, Paul flat out said interior oline got their asses whipped.

Yeah, the problem is coach has been talking about ball security and how they have to do a better job teaching it, for years. Yet it seems like our fumbles problem continues year over year.

I should look into the numbers on that.

Has it been a consistent problem? I feel like some of our teams took really good care of the ball.

IDK. Might be confirmation bias on my part. We didn't fumble at all in Blacksburg, I don't think. But certainly they've been a crucial element of our most heartbreaking losses. How many times have we been driving the length of the field, apparently unstoppable, to salt away the game, when we fumble? Seems like a whole bunch.

I can teach you not to whine in a thread over and over but I can’t control whether you actually whine in a thread while you are sitting at your keyboard.

I don't think you've taught me that yet. You might get fired from that job.

The point is that players are taught how to hold a football so that they don’t fumble it at the very earliest stages. Players have lost their jobs over fumbling too often. We have two BBs. Both have trouble hanging onto the ball. We have no one else to go to.
