I support this. Most of the time I never notice opposing bands but I've hated Florida State's band for as long as I've been a Tech fan. Or öööö 201, make them stand on North Avenue.
 
FSU puts opposing bands up high and behind their band. Whenever the opposing band starts playing FSU's band does their best to drown them out

In our stadium, they always attempt the same crap. Playing over Ramblin' Wreck. Budweiser. One of my friend's wife is a former band member in FSU's band. FSU band members believe their band is the standard to which all bands are judged. In her mind, just as many people come to a game to see the FSU band as come to see the game. She really believes this.

I rode one of the Sweetwater 420 buses to the ACC championship one year. VT vs FSU in Charlotte. The bus I was on played FSU band music on repeat for AT LEAST two hours. I wanted to jam ice picks into my ears. It was torture. It was hell. It was awful. I wanted ear plugs or ear buds or just for the bus to crash.

I hate FSU and their ööööing band.
 
Don't ever put Astroturf on the field again. And Todd will agree.

Some of us may/may not still uphold that tradition. We just may/may not have to be more discrete these days.

Why oh why couldn't Charlotte be just a couple hours farther?

It would be great if we could order and pay for concessions through the GT Gameday app. This is something that could eventually be available to all ticket holders but at a minimum they could make it available to season ticket holders. This would be awesome and likely increase revenue while reducing the need to “improve” the concession stands. While they are at it GT needs to request that the concession vendor use paid employees as opposed to the volunteer groups they use now.

But they only know one song. Similar torture techniques were used in Iraq.
