NmSo are we still in on Javier Morton? Adding two more four stars would lock in our top 25 class for sure.

Yes. I don't know if he's a December or February signee but I beelieve he will be part of this GT football signing class. So are we still in on Javier Morton?
How many O line are in this class? I hope it's 5 or more.
Has anyone ever actually tried it?
So we need to sign 12 more?6 at the moment
Yeah, tea leaves were obvious.Wiggles has taken "GT Commit" off his twitter bio.
Definitely more to this story, hopefully we'll know more by the time signing day gets here, but if not we likely never will.I'd love to have Wiggles, but I'm sure there is more to this story than we currently know. I don't think Illinois is anyone's dream school.
Definitely something not right with the situation. I think we were planning on having room for both Ivey and Wiggles so I don't think that had anything to do with it. We may never know the whole situation but he was recruiting the hell out of GT to his friends up until about 2 weeks ago, so I don't think it was something he's been thinking about doing for any length of time now. Only other thing I could come up with is maybe we've told him he'd be a DE/DT for us and Illinois is giving him an offer as a TE? I think I read that he'd rather play TE, and he definitely is athletic enough, but I think at this level he's better suited for DE/DT. I'd love to have him but if he doesn't end up at GT I wish him the best. Seems like a good kid.Yeah, tea leaves were obvious.
Very curious what happened there.
Hard to even hazard a guess considering the most recent moves. Did Ivey and other commits put us in a position where we backed off? Senioritis affecting the grades? Illinois bagmen? Doesnt matter in the end of course but I cant help but be curious. Definitely gonna keep wishing for the best for Mr Wiggles.
That doesn’t sound right given our staff has shown they will let people play both sides of the ball.Definitely something not right with the situation. Good point. A TE promise might be what changed his calculus.Definitely something not right with the situation. Grayshirting is coming to the flatsI get the feeling we’re going to blow past 25...
FWIW I agree with everything you said but was also thinking that our staff would tell him he could play wherever his talent it maximized and will get him to the nfl. This may turn out to not be the case, but I think that playing both ways may have been a little media fluffery in year 0 due to perceived lack a depth along the lines with using JLee, and it being spun as a positive and not a negative. I don't expect to see a ton of two way play moving forward unless its a percy harvin/ted ginn all american type or for one-off gadget plays or for goal line. Playing someone 25 snaps at TE and 25 snaps at DE/LB seems like a good way to get non-max production at both. I bet even for next year JLee (if he returns) settles into the OL full time again now that we have a year of reps with the current DT's...
Not this year. Early enrollment will take care of 2020.Grayshirting is coming to the flats
