I definitely think we can finish somewhere in the 20's.

Just not sure about how the rating services will rank some of our kids in the final analysis.

I really don't care how they rank current commits like Billy Ward, Jalen Huff, or Jordan Williams OR prospects like Tate Johnson or some of the OL Brent has offered but if they stay where they are it will affect our finish.

We know they are players.

We also don’t know how these kids will perform in their senior year and how that will effect their ratings.

If you are not on Twitter and following the coaches and the various Tech football handles, you should. We have recruits saying things like Tech is their best visit yet, posting photos of uniform try-on (with a ton of adidas hype), and saying very good things about our coaches.

Even more impressive is our players and commits in turn recruiting those guys through twitter.

Agreed. I have nothing to compare to so I'm probably about to step into something, but I can't imagine a single coach on the previous staff playfully posing with recruits for those Twitter uniform photo shoots like this staff does. Maybe they did, and I'm just not aware, but I got to figure that's highly impressionable to today's 18 year old kids.

What are the best options for recruiting subscription services? I feel like I care about this shit now. Not sure if the question warrants its own thread.

I have never paid, but from what I have heard and seen, Rivals is the choice for most GT fans. Quinlan is annoying, but he puts out a lot of content. And he has two other guys working with him.

I tried to keep up early on, but there was no way I could continue and still be productive in life. I created a generic and anonymous twitter account solely dedicated to following GT social media and recruiting. This is my suggestion for folks who want to be in the know without getting sucked into all the toxic crap on twitter.

As savband said, there really is too much good stuff to link. I highly recommend setting up a twitter account and following the coaches/GT football pages. There are several pages that I believe are legitimately tied to the program and not just fan accounts. I created a twitter just for this also. I never post anything, just go there to look for GT news. If you follow the coaches and the other GT pages, they will likely retweet anything a recruit posts and you'll see all of it. Here are some coaches pages I follow and pages I'm pretty sure are run by GT staff:

Rivals is pretty solid actually. The convo on the board is pretty boring and nowhere near as entertaining as Stingtalk. But the info from KQ and the other guys is solid. Practice reports are good, too.

*Edit to add* I signed up for a single month to see if I liked it. I didn't like it enough to keep it but they gave me 3 free months when I went to cancel it. It is definitely not something I can't live without though having had it for a couple of months, it will be harder to cancel it than it was before.

You can also follow KQ and these two guys on Twitter, though they do tease and link paywalled info a good bit.
