2020 Recruiting

We are really, really putting emphasis on edge rushers in this class. I love Kyle's measurables, but I also though we were done here. Makes me wonder if we plan to use Kyle as a TE or Eddie Watkins as a Sam.

Lots of rumblings about Watkins decomitting and heading to Ole Miss after the offer. Wondering if this is what caused us to reach out to Kennard. I was under the impression he was a plan B guy.

I had the same thought. Watkins has been tweeting a lot of Ole Miss stuff and he and Kennard are very comparable, measurables and ratings-wise.

Watkins is visiting this weekend, though.

Kennard is actually rated higher than Watkins.
 
It would be the steal of the century to get that Alabama DT to flip.

Eh, that post has nothing to do with our recruiting. To be fair, some of our stuff can come off as cheesy. I assure you though that when you meet these guys and are at a practice it doesn't come off that way. There's a purpose behind all the things CGC is doing.

Yeah, there wasn't a better place to put it so I threw it in here. Wasn't new threadworthy on its own.
 
Has everything to do with 2020 recruiting. Athens is a ööööhole. Show me where athletes can intern in Athens compared to Atlanta. Show me where those athletes will get the same opportunities to intern. Show me what they have majored in to qualify as an intern.
Basically, you go to UGAg to play football and hope for the NFL. If that doesn't happen, and you don't have intern experience in Athens, then what?
