And I get the branding stuff CGC is pushing with the city, 404, ATL, all that, and I believe it is a good thing, but I hope he doesn't get too carried away with it and this thing come off like a 2 hour commercial for GT. I know it's spring and nobody's going to show their cards, but I do want SOME substance.

Depends on the coach. Gailey ran them as scrimmages without a clock. Paul ran them more like traditional games, but often shortened or would have running clock in the second half or players switching teams to fill out rosters.

I imagine not running a full game is because we don’t have the depth to put out a first and second string for both teams and key positions (QB); and if it’s televised you don’t want the last 90 minutes of coverage to be a clusterfuck of walkons
 
What's the best short term option for ACC network if we can't make it tonight? Comcast still slacking.

Yep - I think the fans would really enjoy seeing some things that clearly suggest year 3 will be different in a big way. We aren't asking for much - just give us what we need to see - remarkable athletes executing a remarkable game plan. Oh, and a kicking game - doesn't have to be a remarkable kicking game - just one that won't cost us any games.

So if we have 12 games in 2021 and in all 12 we are down 2 points with one second left on the other guy's 33 yard line and kick a FG, I'd like to win 8 of those 12. Can we do that or not? The Spring game won't completely answer that question but will I get enough information to feel good about the answer?

In CGC's defense, there may not be much he can show us in the kicking department unless some of our current guys have really improved. The transfer place kicker from Tennessee won't be here until summer and the freshman punter from Ireland also enrolling in summer.

We have four QB;s. Two deep seems sufficient. Linebacker is the only position where there might be an issue.

Charlie Brown nailed more field goals than we did in 2020.
