2022 Recruiting

So, what was the smoke here?

FSU put the screws on him. He thought about it and was like 'nah.'

That seems most likely...but any other guesses?
Seems most likely that he wanted to reaffirm his commitment and completely shut it down before his football season started. Probably hoping to stop getting tugged towards FSU by everyone around him.

Some of you got trolled big time by a teenage boy. Congratulations!

And the most hilarious part is you were just bycatch. He was trying to troll FSU fans, who deserve it.
TBH he did have me worried. He is a rock star at a position of tremendous need. I dont want to put pressure on any one young man, but guys like him are the difference between top 25 teams and lucky-to-go-bowling.

Exact opposite of the Memphis QB saga. Not a position of need + not a superman = no worries.

Did want him, did need him, did fit the system.
Two thirds correct. Don't need him, cuz no single individual in recruiting is ever needed. But we do want him and he fits our system at a critical position.

A base 4-2-5 really needs someone who can identify as either a linebacker or a defensive back. A big body in the slot. Someone in the box. Someone who can stay on the field if they swing out an unexpected receiver wide. All very nice for flexibility, ability to respond to whatever the O does, and to surprise the O with something we do that they do not expect. He should hold up well if Georgie buys the NEXT KYLE PITTS!!!111!!!.

And how we will use him is ideal preparation for the pros, and barring injuries this kid has lock-in pro potential.

Look at some videos of Jeremy Chinn and the Panthers last year. And try to get something of what the Panthers are doing with him this year. Impact player. Impact positions. Jaron Willis.

Ummmm, its really happening, isn't it?

New theory.

This was staged between Tech and Willis to grab attention and headlines during a dead period.

Change my mind.

(Who ever said "locked in" premature blew the cover - :lol2:)
I'm curious. If you learned this, would you be happy or sad about our program?

Additional theory. The timing was meant to overshadow Tevin Carter picking Memphis over Tech.
