Is bet good money that 2 of those QBs aren’t here in 3 years. Just the way that position normally shakes out

The only ways you're getting significant playing time as QB2 (post-Spurrier) is if the guy ahead of you gets hurt or isn't getting it done, or you're at Alabama and playing mop up duty in the 4th. And since most teams aren't introducing a new starter every single year, most of the QB recruits fans get excited about will never play all that much for the school they committed to out of high school. IIWII.

Yep. We had 3 qbs in 19 and none are still here playing qb. 4 qbs last year and only 2 came back.
 
With Peery moving his family from Cali to Atlanta, I could see him being the type to stick around for a chance to start as an upperclassman. If I were advising Yates, I would tell him to get his degree and grad transfer. The way things have shaken out, he should graduate with about 2 years to play.

I applaud anyone wanting a GT degree and particularly one who wants to play a sport while doing so but, yes, Yates needs to step aside next year.
