I appreciate your dedication. However. it will be impossible to attend for those who have to work Thursday or Friday. It will also limit attendance by school kids that we need to recruit for the future.WRONG. I am in Augusta, and I will be there (barring bad weather) with my usual football bud. Also another person who lives across the Savannah River will be there, although he doesn't like the timing of the game. Out of towners contribute as much and attend in numbers faithfully as intowners do.
People will do what they want to do, and if they want to come, they will find a way to do it.I appreciate your dedication. However. it will be impossible to attend for those who have to work Thursday or Friday. It will also limit attendance by school kids that we need to recruit for the future.
They found a day to give the most excuses possible. Good job, GTAA. People will do what they want to do, and that will be take care of their kids and go to work.People will do what they want to do, and if they want to come, they will find a way to do it.
I am retired, so to an extent you are right about me having nothing more important. My bud is a student but can make it. The other one is employed and married, with 7 kids, and he, and probably at least a few members of his family can make it too. I am sure we are not unique. Like I said, people find a way to do what they want to do. Apparently you do not agree. They found a day to give the most excuses possible. Good job, GTAA. People will do what they want to do, and that will be take care of their kids and go to work.
Yippee! 3 out of towners with nothing more important than football in their lives will be able to come!
Well, spring practice in spring makes sense. CCS doesn’t make sense so it makes sense if you think about itWhy not start Spring practice after Spring break?
I’m in Florida and although I fly or drive up to damn near every game, taking an extra vacation day or trying to work remote when traveling because GT schedules this game that’s got limited interest outside of people like me on a Thursday night takes attendance completely out of play. I’ll work around a real game on Thursday and adjust my schedule accordingly, but to cover for a GT boner like this to watch our team being poorly coached one more time is just too much to ask.People will do what they want to do, and if they want to come, they will find a way to do it.
But heads did roll. At least the rollable ones. You can’t exactly axe the kids.I had a dream we lost 100-0 in our last two games, our best player transferred the day after the game, and heads didn’t roll. I haven’t woke up yet.
I assume this motto is carved in granite over the entrance to the GTAA.People will do what they want to do, and if they want to come, they will find a way to do it.
Just realized: the spring game will be held during the winter this year.
Maybe we’ll dress up like USF or ND?Also, how dare you. It's St. Paddy's Day
