2024 Recruiting

Q. Does a school offer usually mean that a school will take the player if they commit? For example, one of GT's commitment has an offer from Alabama, is Alabama making him an informal offer that they may pull if he shows interest or are they saying we will take him if he commits?

Not all offers are created equal. Many are contingent on any number of things and not all are immediately commitable.

Looks like another spot opened up. RB Alexander has decommitted. We’ll see if RB Carrie is going to replace him on NSD. No idea on his status outside of GT being in the final 3.

From what I've seen we are current leaders and it's basically between us and A&M at this point. Really wished the staff could have talked him out of going on that visit this weekend, but we'll see what happens and hope for the best.

Who is he?

In other potential good news, Michigan State took an RB commit from 3* RB Tullis. Put the pieces together here, and this could be a very good early NSD for GT.

Stanford was named by Leland Stanford for his son who died named Leland Dewitt Stanford. It would have been better to call it Leland University or even better Dewitt University. The latter certainly doesn’t sound very exclusive.
Fake news. It was named for Lamont Stanford of Watts.
