He’s one of the top dual threats in the nation he probably has his choice of schools still in his ear. Doesn’t make sense that GT would be the one to cut ties

You are totally wrong. Key and buster just didn't want him. They have a diamond in the rough guy that they are hiding from us, they don't want us to know about him yet. They are playing checkers while everyone else is playing chess.

If it's grades or scores, I thought we got a couple of exceptions each year, and there's time to build up test scores - unless they were just that bad.

Pay less attention to his stars and more attention to his development. The other qb prospects are much better even with fewer stars. It's still early regarding star rankings, regardless. Also, looking at the offer list, does it really look like he's a top dual threat qb?
 
He’ll probably go to a big P5 school for a year then transfer to a lower P5 school after he doesn’t start right away. We’ve seen this movie before.
