Nvm, just saw where he tore his ACL at the beginning of his season. Wonder if the coaches told him to hold off on signing.

I think it’s also bc we got that other running back, Marshall, to sign. 2 running backs in this class (Powell and Marshall) class coming in behind another 2 freshmen in the previous class (Carrie and Maddox) makes for stiff competition. I’m just spitballing here, so I don’t fully know.Nvm, just saw where he tore his ACL at the beginning of his season. Wonder if the coaches told him to hold off on signing.
You forgot the hat ceremonyOur signing day now has everything:
- A surprise signee
- A surprise non-signee
- A guy holding out until later in the day
screw Dalvin TomlinsonYou forgot the hat ceremony
So Calvin has to be #1 - who is #2?It's probably already been noted, but it bears repeating. Assuming Petty and Ajidahun both sign today, this class will have the all-time numbers: 3, 4, 13, 15, 17, 18 recruits ever at GT according to 247. That's 6 of the top 20 signees over the past ~24 years.
Historic is an understatement for this class.

Oh, boy, I knew we weren't gonna make it to the end of the day without the venerable Hobie Holliday rearing his head.
Looking again, they've raised Petty's rating, so he would be the new #2 over Hobie Holiday back in 2000.
That list doesn't include Donnie Davis who was the highest rated QB in the country when he signed. I want to say that was class of 92?

I think it only goes back to 2000.That list doesn't include Donnie Davis who was the highest rated QB in the country when he signed. I want to say that was class of 92?
Just you are aware, Jeff Sims comes in #20 on the 247 list of all-time Tech recruit rankings. Just ahead of Nesbitt.
Looking at that list... So many guys that went on to achieve greatness.
