For much of the game Norris was getting jammed and couldn’t get off line.Sanders, Carter and McGowan need to be the WR;s.

I think it would be more quantitative over tangible improvement at this point.Need one more win for tangible improvement. Keep grinding.
They cannot run block. They got pretty whupped up front by puke. Run block I mean come onYou might be forgetting a small detail that this is year three after a decade plus of triple option. This not a normal year three of a rebuild.
Sounds like a job for for Strength and Conditioning coaches. For much of the game Norris was getting jammed and couldn’t get off line.
Did you see the Pitt game? If so, no need to watch this one. It was the same, only against a öööötier team. Sims had some great plays and 2 horrible turnovers. Peje Harris busted his ass to save the pick 6 this time. Gibbs had a lot of receiving yards again, and had absolutely no room in the run game again. Defense was okay at times, but couldn’t get stops when needed again, EXCEPT the final drive. Offense couldn’t get first downs, but made enough öööö happen to win.No such thing as a bad win when you are in our position. Granted, I am on a boy scout trip and haven't watched yet.
Duke did miss 2 FG’s.
It happens from time to time.Sounds like we got lucky.
We are lucky Cutcliffe was scared to go for those 4th downs. One or both could have been TD drives and further momentum for them.Duke did miss 2 FG’s. And we played not very tough. Need to see improvement in that area but we don’t like to lose and we fight for each other and that’s nice.
Yeah I’m happy for the players to get this win. It would’ve been probably the worst day of their lives otherwise. I’m not confident we can win another game this season. Hopefully we are competitive. We are lucky Cutcliffe was scared to go for those 4th downs. One or both could have been TD drives and further momentum for them.
Or maybe notWe are lucky Cutcliffe was scared to go for those 4th downs. One or both could have been TD drives and further momentum for them.
That happens when you play with a 5 to 10 yard cushion.Duke's QB 22-29. We have to find an answer for QB's completing 75%+ of their passes. Thank God for the 29th pass
I don't know if we just don't trust our DB's or not. That happens when you play with a 5 to 10 yard cushion.
Either way the result likely would’ve been better than what they got which was a 7 yard loss and turnover.Or maybe not
Hmm. Maybe we should rush 3Duke's QB 22-29. We have to find an answer for QB's completing 75%+ of their passes
Just feels like both sides of the ball don't have an idea of what their "identity" is and the coaches seem afraid to stick with anything even if it's workingI don't know if we just don't trust our DB's or not.
Yeah I expected better on the lines this year too. I’m not saying the coaches don’t have room for improvement. All I’m saying is it’s hard to judge at this point and all you can expect is measured improvement and we seem to have improved each each year so patience is needed. I like where our recruiting is going. They cannot run block. They got pretty whupped up front by puke. Run block I mean come on
