35 Head Coaches make more than Paul Johnson

They've been saying this for 40 years now. Somehow,we won a national championship during that time. People are trying to find a scapegoat. CPJ made a mistake in 2011 and 2012 not recruiting enough skill position players and we are paying for it now. Hopefully, he learns not to unbalance the classes so much.

Right, and even our NC run was sandwiched between a lot of mediocrity. We need to make our big seasons count. Agree on those recruiting mistakes - I think we made a lot of them early on. On the plus side, our recruiting has gotten much better, imo, and our current freshman class is good.

I never said the ship can't be righted. We have a combination of what should be a strength on offense sucking and inexperience at the skill positions.

You cannot be serious. IIWII. We're #35 under CPJ after 8 years and that's where we'll be 8 years from now if he's still around. We'll have 1-2 really good years in that 8 year span and 6 more really average-to-mediocre years.

Dave Braine is beginning to sound like a genius.
