9/19-20 Thursday/Friday Game Thread (Fruits vs. Trees edition)

like I figured we were for sure better than the damn trees. but their qb is running on Syracuse better than King did
Again, Syracuse missing a coupla guys

These Stanford helmets are the kind of thing I tend to dislike in terms of college football uniforms
Too many get too fancy. Not generally a fan of the recent chrome moments in Tech's storied uniform history. I do wonder, are they still going to be churning out dozens or hundreds of "new" uniform designs for college football teams ten, twenty years from now? Or will the schools have adopted their primary sponsor's color scheme as their On-Field Brand by then?

So we will be red and white and a dynamic ribbon will grace the uniform? I'd rather do the field that way...

I’m glad we added Cal and Stanford to dominate the conference

The most hopeful thing we can say is Stanford used the film of them playing us to figure stuff out when all we had was film of Cuse against a weaker team, but that doesn't bode well for tomorrow.

Illinois beating Nebraska 7-0 early in Cornhuskerville
