#9 - OLB Tyson Meiguez

Did you just quote yourself to agree with yourself? Because that was well done and I agree with both of you.
We are two different souls of a single hive mind. I do not know texstinger but feel he is a fair, honorable and decent man.

I would also add, show me an Orange Bowl trophy with talent ranked 55 and I will show you a coach who is a god among men.

There are lots of different ways to make the juice, after all.

If you believe the bold then you and texstinger have basically nothing in common.

He is a bona fide hatin' ass hater when it comes to CPJ.

FWIW neither of these seem to be particularly good definitions of a good coach

After watching Behrens and Meiguez, I think I have an idea of what CGC looks for in his linebackers. Meiguez is the better athlete, and I'd stick him at will, even though he is smart enough to call signals. Great recognition. Great patience, and good closing burst once he commits. Will mix it up in the trenches but best when in space. Can shed. Much stronger than he was in his soph tape. Eats up yards with his easy gait.

He could be a plus X receiver, if he and CGC wanted that.

Friends, we are going to have linebackers who drop into coverage like safeties, are smart, have good vision, and are responsible vs the run. And none of them are going to give up on a play just because it is going the other way. Our back four are going to be strong as long as CGC is here. All we need are enough war daddies up front and we can do some major damage on defense. It will be fun.

I knew it would be better but better would have been recruiting classes in the top 40. I genuinely did not expect this and the staff has only been here for three months. If they can coach them up too plus recruit consistently, oh man.

They can coach em up.

Patience and staying clean were the things that jumped off the film most. Stays out of the fray until the last second and then has great burst. Sheds blocks with his hands well.
