Once was on the elevator at Turner Field for a Braves game. The door opens at the press level and my 2 year old starts running out. A guy coming on grabs her and says "where are you running off to young lady?" It was Richt and his son. We had a nice, brief conversation. Seemed like a very good guy.
 
Been listening to 680 since the Braves ended and haven't heard anything about this story.

Matt Chernoff did just share a story though about accidentally making a sexual reference to a lady he was volunteering with at his kids swim meet last night.

I wouldn't surprise me if they didn't. After all, isn't 680 the 'Official Station' for UGAY?

Your first mistake was listening to sports talk radio in Atlanta. More and bigger boobs there than at the Cheetah in its heyday.
Sword swallowing all things Georgia is their bread and butter. It's their golden goose. They won't do anything to put that in jeopardy.

Know how I know you’re gay? You’re using “more and bigger boobs” as an argument against something.
 
In Alabama a journalist story like this would never hit the papers. The state is controlled by 4 Alabama people who care to much about the football program to let this be made public. Those 4 are: 1. the Governor 2 CEO of Alabama Power 3 the head of the Alabama state pension fund 4 the Senate majority leader. In Georgia, we have Atlanta and you can't hide things as well and a nosy journalist will publish it. If the Governor tried to stop it, that would be found out and he would be under scrutiny. Just my opinion.

I'm all for more and bigger boobs. I've even paid for some. Except in sports talk radio. There's enough of them there.

The very first thing Kirby did when he took over the job was slow down state FOIA response times. We only know about what’s happening outside the university - god knows what is going on within the walls of containment.

The Fixer.

I can see a cross between Matlock and Law and Order: SVU.

But for reals. They are gonna pin this whole thing on this Gantt fella. Like he is some kind of rogue fixer that is definitely not taking any orders from Smart or the UGA athletic department.

I agree with you actually, this is a great idea. It'd get a ton of press and draw attention to their wrongdoing. We'd get praised by some for our moral stance. I'm a traditionalist and want COFH to be every year, but what is happening today is so bad that it is a blight on the tradition.
