AB enters the transfer portal

Good lord. James Graham looked like warmed over D2 talent, to be brutal about it. If Lucas Johnson had remained healthy, Graham would have ridden pine all last season. If we were running 3-O, he would have been playing behind Tobias.

This fiction that Graham was somehow our savior at QB is just that. Fiction.
Graham had better stats than Johnson, far better stats.

Graham could be placed somewhere else, even if it wasn’t 3O. We still could’ve used him as a rotational QB instead of having Sims in there the whole time. I still would’ve liked to see graham start and we slide Sims in instead of throwing Sims into the fire. I think Sims has the tools to be successful, he just got thrown in way too quick.
Results probably the same. Might as well give the kid some experience

Holy ööööing öööö. How many concussions have you suffered?

Oh the backup QB. You like him because he was recruited for the option and that's about all you got.
I mean every other player on our starting lineup was recruited for the option except for Sims and Gibbs. I like him bc he knows when to run, where to throw, etc. he doesn’t do careless mistakes often

Yep, I was surprised Collins went so hard after AB. For a staff that focuses on measurables, AB was an outlier. Had he not gotten injured this year, maybe they could have designed some plays for him. Too bad. Best of luck AB, not many guys can match a CJ record.

I give him a lot of leeway with the transition class. He was probably trying to keep it together and AB had some good skills coming in.

Sure, no doubt experience is necessary. But let me put it like this. Mahomes and Watson, both on the board when the chiefs went to pick. I’d say their skill set is the same, but since Mahomes got to sit a year behind Smith (I’m not saying sit Sims a whole year) he got to learn the intangibles and grew a lot quicker than Watson did who was thrown straight into the fire

Graham played more so of course he had more completions, yards, TD’s and INT’s.

Johnson (21-37) completed 57% of his passes, to Graham’s 45%.

2019 QB rating-

Graham - 109
Johnson - 103

Why, because Sims needs experience from the bench for a little bit? Hell he threw a pick on the first play to a completely covered receiver. I was picking plays all game yesterday where he was missing wide open guys and throwing to covered ones. He isn’t ready for college football.

Hey douchebag, James Graham is gone. You can watch him play next season for Ohio State or Alabama or whatever school sees his talent the way you see his talent. Constantly harping on Graham makes you look like a spectrum kid. Perhaps change your name to Rainman

You were picking plays? Let me guess, your one of those know it all assholes who, after every play, says "well I would have done this" and yet somehow you ended up a blob at Carson Newman

Yeah you don't really know the details about the situation besides the fact he's been injured half the year but you show your true colors once again and your hate for CGC. What's funny is that you try to hide it most of the time. I'll remember though and remind you that your an asshat. It's actually going to be really fun for me.

I don’t, y’all said name another talent that Collins wasted so I said graham. Then you had a cow. I’m going to need you to take a chill and understand people have different opinions than you. Being a keyboard warrior isn’t going to get you anywhere. If you would like to have a reasonable and logical debate, I am free.

Yes, I’m one of those people that says that I would have done this when there is a receiver wide open standing next to the receiver that’s covered.

No, he hasn’t been used as a target at all this season. Even when he was ATL, which hasn’t been the case in weeks, he wouldn’t get targets. I guarantee you that he was pissed that Collins wouldn’t do anything, Collins said that it was either the 404 way or you don’t deserve to be on this team, and AB got pissed. I can GUARANTEE you that’s what happened
I guarantee you that you are wrong.

Brown was clearly the fastest receiver on the team but I never considered him to have best hands. He often bobbled the ball without catching it cleanly. Hope it works out for him.

You're talking about the NFL dude. Ask Payton Manning about his 3-13 rookie year and see if he liked getting the lumps out of the way.

The only thing that is guaranteed is that nothing is guaranteed.

Dude... that's the F'ing NFL. Totally different ballgame.
