Sure, there are special occasions where that happens, but what if this is just another Ryan Leaf. There’s a reason why even the studs at QB today in college never started. Lawerence came in a game against us, and I believe he came back and won. Justin Fields didn’t start at UGA and went on to be a beast at OSU. Kyle Trask I don’t believe started his freshman year, but I may be wrong. I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve to start, I’m saying that we shouldn’t have hit the gas on him so early

James Graham was a sophomore that won 2 games the previous year. That's not the same as starting the year out with an experienced SR that carried you to the playoffs the previous year. You are so dumb.

Actually we want that speedy slot guy. Got Jamal Haynes and Malik Rutherford coming in, both about 5'9" 170. Also have McCollum. We are ok at slot

But it’s still experience nonetheless. I guarantee you can’t name the starting QB before Kyle Trask off the top of your head. Every coach does this unless they find an absolute stud 5 star QB that can ACTUALLY start and carry them to at least a NY6 bowl their freshman year
