AB enters the transfer portal

Yeah I'm not asking who... I'm asking that are you seriously attributing Trask being so good because he sat behind Franks?? Go ask a Florida fan if they feel the same.
Yes I do because he was able to take mental reps and learn the speed of the game behind another more experienced QB. Frank’s wasn’t a bad QB, he just blew out his ACL twice

Brown is exactly like Percy Harvin. We didn’t even attempt to put him on jet sweeps, flat routes, slants, etc.
Yes, we absolutely did. We didn't block very well, but he also didn't make anybody miss or break tackles. It was not successful at all, and I'm glad we went away from it. If we're trying to get someone in space on the perimeter, I'd much rather it be Jahmyr Gibbs.

I was thinking earlier this year that Jahmyr Gibbs and Ahmarean Brown remind me of CJ Spiller and Jacoby Ford at Clemson 10 years ago. Ford was faster than Spiller in a straight line (national champ in 60m dash, IIRC) and had a ton of hype, but he didn't have the wiggle and couldn't really break tackles. As a result, Ford was a role player and Spiller was a gamechanger.

Yeah you don't really know the details about the situation besides the fact he's been injured half the year but you show your true colors once again and your hate for CGC. What's funny is that you try to hide it most of the time. I'll remember though and remind you that your an asshat. It's actually going to be really fun for me.

Whatever gets you through the night, you slapdick turbodouche. You don’t know Jack öööö about me or anything else.

I don’t hate CGC, but I think it’s reasonable to have a few concerns in the aftermath of a couple of historically bad seasons. I hope he succeeds and grows into the role, and that he can bring his vision to fruition. If he can’t, somebody else can come here and try in a few years.

No hard feelings for AB, just sorry to see him go after such a promising start last year and kind of a fizzle this year.

So yeah, please be sure to throw the fact that I have reasonable expectations and generally good will toward our players and coaches back in my face - that’ll really show me!

Can we wipe out every post in this thread aside from the first and this one?
It won't help. Hope the kid and his family stay well. Hope somebody breaks into the homes of our newly flowered half-assed trolls and brutally "satirizes" them until they bleed out. Lads just stop arguing with these morons, they are not even fun.

We ran with brown twice this season.

I see a lot of people trying to grade out what he did in the offense this year and use it as some kind of strike against him as a player to minimize the loss, but honestly, I'm not sure how you can objectively reach any conclusions given how inconsistent the team was throwing the ball up until the point he got hurt. It's only been recently that the true freshman quarterback has really started to get his feet under him more, and the OC has said one of the things they spent a lot of time working on in the three weeks leading up to the Duke game was trying to get Sims to stop throwing such a flat deep ball. Obviously, if Sims was struggling throwing the deep ball that would adversely effect Brown's game most of all.

Had he stayed, I have no doubt he'd have been better integrated into the offense and continued to improve next year along with all the other young players. As it is, he needs to go take care of his family and you can't fault him for being a good guy and doing the Tashard Choice thing and going home to take care of his folks. Hope they get better and I wish him well.

Ok. Mental reps is one thing but you absolutely can't learn the speed of the game on the sidelines. There is no better learning tool than live game experience.

Oh and btw, VT, Alabama, Arkansas, etc. all wanted graham, he was a 4 star
Like somebody else said, not as a QB. I'm sure we offered him the opportunity to stay and work at another position, but I'm guessing Graham wants to try to play QB somewhere.
