ACC Schedule Release - Jan 26 - 3 pm

I don't think playing cupcakes helps Miami prepare for us. Tech will already be up to speed when we face da U. If we can stay healthy, I'd rather get some P5 game experience early. Last year, we rolled over two weak opponents without ever fixing the blocking issues. Richt and the Miami players already have a strategy for the option, but they will need real game experience.

Spring game is a noon on a Saturday. Did we just give up on the Friday night with fireworks thing because it rains every öööö year?
 
Some of you act like we are somehow entitled to an easy schedule.

When you play in a conference that has some good teams, then the schedule isn't easy.

Miami has BYE in week 3 then @GT, FSU, UNC, @VT (5 days rest), @ND

9 straight ACC games and 4 of 5 on the road.

VT has 4/5 road ACC* games in a 7 ACC game stretch: @UNC, @Syracuse, Miami, @Pitt, @Duke, GT, @ND*, then UVA

UNC's schedule lays out pretty easy, but still have @FSU, VT, @Miami B2B2B
Duke's schedule lays out pretty easy, but finish with @GT, VT, UNC, @Pitt, @Miami

Toughest 3-game stretch for us: Clemson, Miami, @Pitt or Duke, @UNC, @VT and the only 4 game ACC stretch is Duke, @UNC, @VT, UVA. Not too bad guys.

Bye weeks for opponents is typically the request that the ACC tries to grant each team. Granted, we seem to screwed out of that request (see @BYU, @Miami back-to-back a few years ago).
