For those arguing about Gibbs not getting enough touches... here are some stats.
Gibbs is ranked #3 in all-purpose yards out of all players in college. He has 1457 yards. The number 1 player has 1558, 101 more yards than that. Gibbs has had several long runs, returns, and completions called back this year and he could easily be leading the category. There have been many others that he was very close to breaking or just needed one extra second on a block to break. He is also the most balanced as far as rushing/receiving/return yards on the list. The first guy on the list is a WR with 1300+ of his yards being receiving yards. The second guy on the list is a RB with 1200+ of his yards coming as rushing yards. Gibbs' yards come on a total of 159 plays, 19 being returns. That gives him 140 offensive touches. That's about 17.5 touches per game (offense only) and would put him in the top 25. He returns an average 2 kicks per game, so 19.5 total touches per game would be good for 14th in the country. There is nobody at UGA, Florida, Clemson, Ohio State, Oregon, Auburn, etc. getting more touches than him.
