Any News On The Status Of Sim?

I’d rest Sims if Pyron continues to move the O. Maybe just a series for Sims to get him back in the swing. I’d start Sims against UNC until they show they can stop a mobile QB.

Emergency QB is not QB2. Emergency QB means will not play unless all QBs get hurt and there is no other position-designated QB dressed for the game. Emergency QB is usually not even a QB (i.e., I think Tyreek Hill is the Dolphins emergency QB)

He can't "open things up" when he is constantly injured. This is 3 years of missing multiple games each year. I think we give him the e-mail link to the transfer portal.

Everybody conveniently forgets he didn't miss a game his first season as a true freshman. He got hurt last year and I believe he would have come back sooner had we not had FCS Kennesaw the next week, then Yates looked somewhat competent and almost got the W at Clemson or Sims probably would have come in. He got hurt again late in the season and played against Miami on one leg basically, then they shut him down after that. He has had 2 separate injuries on the same foot this year in back to back games. Did you not see how he was tackled and rolled up on at the end of the Duke game? That doesn't mean he's "injury prone."

I have a feeling it's already listed in his favorites on his iPad, Pyron is our guy and Sims knows it

Don’t count Sims out yet. He won the starting job as a true freshman. Having two QBs is a good problem to have.

Maybe, but at least with Pyron, I don’t wince and cringe and partially look away when he goes to pass
 
Honestly, who really gives a öööö at this point who plays QB? It’s not going to make a difference in terms of wins/losses. The only person that should care is the guy trying to decide if he wants to be our next coach or not. If I’m that guy, some more film on Pyron would be nice.

I think who plays quarterback and how well they play makes a great difference in terms of a win or loss.
