As pissed as I am, I still believe Key is building a Championship program.

If it was me getting knocked out on a bs non call I'd have just laid there until the stretcher took me out. Clearly the refs weren't going to let UGA lose so no point in finishing out the game the whole team should have just walked out at that point

We were maximus versus Tigris of Gaul with the SEC front office playing commodus.
Had to overcome long odds and forces against us we knew existed before entering the cesspool

How much of this team will be here next year? I hate what college football has become.

At the end of the day it’s 7 straight years of losing which is unacceptable. There are plenty on the board that were still feeding off there mom since the last time Tech beat them at Bobby Dodd. Losing to UGA when you’re up double digits most of the game as well as inside the last 6 minutes is unacceptable. Tech mentally doesn’t know how to beat UGA and it’s the case in just about every other male sport.

This is just…such a ööööing phony tough guy post. Yes the dudes who laid EVERYHTING on the field for 60 minutes within the rules could’ve risen above and made 1 more play. But it never should’ve got to that point. The game was stolen from them and we aren’t The only ones saying it.

No it’s what I see as reality. I genuinely believe Tech athletes go into games preparing and hoping to beat UGA but in the back of their heads expect to lose. On the other hand, UGA expects to win and is shocked when they don’t. Pick a sport, we can go into the game having the better athletes and team and still find a way to lose. But the boys fought hard and we are making progress. We played them better than most teams in the country, blah blah blah. It’s all moral victories and becomes acceptable. No way in hell Kirby would be telling his guys how proud of the effort if they lost that game last night. Yet, it’s the first thing we say because we’re pleased it’s even competitive. It’s a mental as it is physical at this point and you can see it across all sports.

If you watched that 20.5 point underdog team play last night and thought, “Man this team really doesn’t think they can beat these guys!” I don’t know what to tell you. A player speared our QB in the face and knocked him unconscious. That’s why we lost.

There’s always an excuse. This isn’t a dominant GA team as they’ve been in past years. You have a 2 TD lead with 5:30 to go along with multiple opportunities in OT. We should have won the game.

Yeah we should’ve. And no there isn’t always an excuse. But this year there is one that even objective fans are questioning. No one is questioning your manliness. Stop projecting your fears that you’re not tough enough on the players that played last night.

Lots of major positives to take away from the game, but some things need to be cleaned up such as...
1. Our most important offensive asset cannot be our leading rusher. HK got beat to hell and back last night.
2. CTS has to reevaluate his use of that dreadful "prevent" defense.
3. Kicking game....specifically those doing the kicking.

Add red zone performance to the list
