As pissed as I am, I still believe Key is building a Championship program.

Had a night to sleep on it. About as brutal as a loss gets. Think we should ignore the moral victory and pointing at the rankings. No dwags I know think their team is going to win it this year and all said tech was easy money.

At the end of the day, there is always too much focus on this game. 7-5 and no embarrassing losses is real progress. Every team loses players to the portal now but I feel we will be more of a destination team going into 2025. We are suddenly an up and coming team with a lot of stability with the coaching staff.

We were on the wrong side of this game, but truly one of the most epic games of the college season.

I said there is no moral victory and there's not as a fan or a player.

But no neutral fan would look at our last three games this season, including this one, and not think we're building something here.
And neither can the recruits

This is just…such a ööööing phony tough guy post. Yes the dudes who laid EVERYHTING on the field for 60 minutes within the rules could’ve risen above and made 1 more play. But it never should’ve got to that point. The game was stolen from them and we aren’t The only ones saying it.
Yes! I'm sick and tired of having beat the opposing team AND the refs! We were the better team last night, but had the game stolen from us. If ugag had physically beaten us, then "Congratulations on the win. I still hate your guts, but you beat us fair and square." But when we had the game won, only to have it stolen by the zebras... Well... It's really frustrating, and I'm not in a congratulatory mood!

There's not a single recruit out there that saw that game and decided we weren't competitive or improving.
In fact, I think many are thinking, "if only I had been at DB/WR/RB/etc Tech would have won." That helps us immensely. It was basically a tie, we should have pulled it out, but they never should have been that down, either.

I'm super proud of the team and Key has proved that he us a helluva team leader and head coach!

Go Jackets!!

Lots of major positives to take away from the game, but some things need to be cleaned up such as...
1. Our most important offensive asset cannot be our leading rusher. HK got beat to hell and back last night.
2. CTS has to reevaluate his use of that dreadful "prevent" defense.
3. Kicking game....specifically those doing the kicking.
Add learning fair catch rules to the list. Have officials attend that lecture as well.

They achieved this last year after losing to #1 by one possession. Not as heartbreaking as this one, but pretty close.
Much different in my mind. I know they do in expecting to win every game, but last year was a pretty clear over performance where we came close but no one would say we should have won.

This one we outperformed them for most of the game and then lost in just about the most emotionally and physically draining way possible.

Can they turn the page and start preparing for the bowl with 100% intensity? I believe in the team and Key but it definitely won't be easy.

I trust Key to get the team ready for a bowl game. We (the team and the fans) have a month to get over this.

4 quarters of dwag fans around me screaming "FAR CURBEE SMURT' all game :lol2:
I can't wait until the day when we can scream fire Brent Key as he leads us to the playoffs and a potential national championship 3 out of 4 years!

What is the rule??
Damn just looked it up and refs had it right. You can't advance the ball if you call fair catch even if it hits the ground. I thought once it hit the ground you could pick up and advance.

So don't call it unless you are going to catch it on KOs!

Yeah what happened on that kickoff?

We were trying to figure that out too. The best idea I can come up with is inadvertent whistle.

The announcers were really awful last night. They didn't even mention it. Don't they have a rules analyst for that?
