Per clay Travis, Currie went to brohm with the offer, brohm accepted. Currie went back to the administration with the terms of that agreement and they rejected the terms. Currie went back to brohm with different terms (related to how money was paid out in relation to brohms buyout) and brohm said öööö that.

I actually feel sorry for Tennessee. They have these feudal overlords making every decision for them(why they won't hire kiffin) good on the fan base for standing up and rejecting that shit on Sunday

Ouch. What's funny is that NC State will fire Doeren after he goes 4-8 next season. This has been the only year that he wasn't awful, and he really should have been much better. He has an NFL QB, an elite D-line, and FSU is terrible. Doeren 2017 = Gailey 2006, except Gailey at least made bowls in his other seasons and at least made the ACCCG.
 
In all seriousness... what man can now honestly stand up in that press conference and say he is proud to be the next HC at UT knowing he's only there because (at least) 9 other mother ööööers turned it down before him?
