BOB is not someone we need with the way college football is going. We HAVE to succeed now or never. He’s considered the worst coach on Saban’s staff right now. We HAVE to go for someone that will have us succeed instantaneously and for a long stretch. If not we’re going to be one of the Bama, Clemson, Ohio State, UGAg, etc. feeder programs that the bottom 80-85% of the NCAA is turning into. We’re going to continue to be Arizona State, Colorado, Vanderbilt, FAU, (insert trash team here). 10 years ago, I would’ve been full on board with BOB. Hell, even after PJ was gone if be fine with BOB. This is not the time for BOB.

He won’t be OC here most likely. He’s shown he’s more than capable of running a program and correcting a listing ship. He’s a hell of a lot better of a hire than Deion ööööing Sanders would be, and people here have been slobbering that knob for weeks.

Deion understands this age of football. Deion will make us a top 5 recruiting class first year. Nobody would want to play for BOB who’s last few years had 1) traded away DHop for David Johnson 2) lost the entire Houston Texans franchise 3) been known as the worst coordinator Nick Saban has had the past few years.

Deion is good at attracting attention to himself. He’s shown only that he can be a big fish in the smallest of ponds. No one knows whether he is capable of running a major college football program, recruiting to a program that requires something more than a pulse for admission, and dealing with boosters. He’s essentially coaching a flashy high school program.
