We know he’ll get players to commit to him. The literal number 1 player in the country, a two way stud, committed to him solely bc he’s “coach prime.” BOB is gonna be what every CPJ hater says recruiting wise, without a unique gameplan to go along with it. It won’t be a good mix and Tech will disappear into the mist. We will become MIT.

Final thoughts on BoB…I’ve run my mouth too much on this topic….

It’s understandable why some here see him as an attractive candidate. He checks some boxes and is a defensible hire. That said, he struggled to relate to players his first time here and such will be exacerbated under current college football conditions. He is a decent but not great coordinator and provides little game day advantages. His work for PSU was noble, but those circumstances were unique and do not relate to ours. His ceiling is most likely Chan Gailey. Perhaps some are okay with a “meh” hire under the premise we can return to .500 ball.

This potential hire does nothing for me personally and doubt would energize the players or fan base. I would rather take a chance elsewhere..but what do I know.

Don’t assume that I want BOB as a top choice. But I’m also not ööööting on him before he even coaches a game (if he ends up as the guy).
 
I think BOB is a decent choice. He can sell NFL coaching experience to recruits. He is well respected. He may have learned some things under Saban about team discipline and coaching. I like Key and Chadwell too. I could live with any of these 3 but AD needs to do his homework.

Don’t ask him that, he’s gonna play hard devils advocate, especially since he doesn’t connect with guys roughly close to my age and younger.
