Bama inlaws...

I mean sure, if you wanna keep going with nothing but screen passes and dump off routes on 3rd and 10-15, go right ahead. I’m not stopping you.
Yeah, well their receivers and TEs aren’t all that great this year. His offense is not all that different from what Todd Monken runs at the cesspool, except Monken has a top flight TE and decent WRs to stretch the field.

It is EXTREMELY different from what Todd runs at UGAg. Todd runs a 2-3 TE set, and they stretch the field all game. Yeah they run screen passes, but it’s not every play like Bama. And Bama had skilled enough WRs to run different route combos. Hell, UNC runs better route combos than Bama, and Bama has arguably better receivers.

Uga runs 2 TE sets because they have probably the two best TEs in the country. They have better TEs than some nfl teams. Any OC in the country would run 2 TE sets with those guys on the roster. And the Bama receivers suck. They are not good. There is no big game receiver out there like they’ve had in the past.

BOB has receivers who do not separate well and a RB (Gibbs) who is a pretty good receiver. He’s playing his strengths with the short game.

They have done this every year, it ain’t just this year. They’ve always been running those old pro sets that the NFL used to run.

BOB has receivers that are better than 95% of the NCAA. He just DOESNT do complex routes to them. He did the exact same thing last year with Jameson Williams, Koop Aid McKinstry (who is still on the team), and John Metchie. It was all short routes, even in 3rd and long. He would be a more expensive Chip long at HC. If you want BOB, just hire Chip as the HC. At least he’s save us money.
