Belichick to UNC?!

We need to win the ACC championship next year

UNC with Belichick and Stanford with Andrew Luck are going to be very formidable in 2 to 3 years. very fortunate that FSU ded.

ACC shaping up to be very interesting. College Gameday will want to roll into Chapel Hill next year.
Stanford with Andrew Luck?

May I direct your attention to Stanford with Bill Walsh.

Luck directing things I suspect is going to have Stanford back to the level they were at with Harbaugh quickly. Harbaugh and Walsh both turned in top 10 finishes at Stanford. Last year it looked like Climp and FSU might be the only ACC teams competing in whatever new phase of college football we are entering. Now it seems like Stanford, GT, UNC, Miami, SMU, and maybe even Syracuse will be playing some very high level ball over the next few years. Watching ACC Huddle is interesting beyond just a GT lens these days.

That whole channel needs an overhaul. I agree ACC Huddle and some of the shows about the schools are good. Other shows have the most boring commentators in the history of the world.

There's also nobody left from that era. It was an aging team - especially in the secondary (three starters already 30 plus) - and most of the offensive line - Shaq, Joe Thuney, etc. - is either elsewhere or done. The entire roster needed an overhaul. As far as I can tell, there are just two guys left on the Pats roster from 2018, TB12's next to last year.
Where Belichick really failed is in drafting and in being the GM. The Pats did much better in free agency (Matthew Judon, e.g.) than in drafting. Sony Michel? Isiah Wynn? Tyquan Thornton (not to mention Chad Jackson)? Or even better, No Hands N'Keal Harry.
Ugh.
Especially on offense

I predict 4-2 or 5-1 at home, 3-2 or 4-1 on the road, and 0-1 at a “neutral” site for 7-5 to 9-3 next season. A lot can change in the offseason. The result at Colorado will have a big effect on the season trajectory.

Truly would be the funniest timeline if he jumped ship before coaching a game.

But now they’ve got his plan!

My guess is that Belichick hasn't made any major staff changes cause he doesn't care - it's all a play on getting back to the NFL. After June 1 the payoff to UNCheat for leaving drops to $1M (it is $10M before that date).

Who would want to sign on to that circus? Fortunately for UNCheat they already have someone on staff with Head Clown experience.

I can't wait. The lulz will be epic.

I don't think anyone would go through all the trouble of becoming an FBS head coach just to get back to NFL head coach... I'm not even sure of the logic there.
