1993 & 1995 were played on Thanksgiving.

Yep. Per the media guide, we played UGA on Thanksgiving in 1971, 1975, 1993 and 1995. We played on Thanksgiving regularly up to 1930, usually Auburn, also Clemson, Florida, South Carolina and 'St. Albans.'

That place was packed and loud tonigh the fans defiantly showed up. It was a fun atmosphere.

Pretty crazy that a lot of the players in this game are too young to ever remember UVA beating VT.

Beating VT has to be like some sort of story that UVA fans tell their kids, like how television used to be in black and white or folks used to have to walk a mile to school in the snow.

Uva qb drops 3 of 3 deep sideline fades into the breadbasket for TDs against us and can’t come within 5 yards of a receiver on the same routes tonight. Either the Tech in Charlottesville or the uva vs vt curse is real. Or both.

How we didn’t win the division is beyond me after watching miami and vt the last few weeks. And how in the actual öööö are they a combined 19-4.
