Blue Devil Prediction Thread

More often than not, Tech has bounced back when some of the fans were ready to write them off. We are going to find out a lot about the character of this team on Saturday. They are going to be playing on the road, in the rain, coming off a very deflating loss, and against a decent Duke team that would love to beat them again this year. I really don't know if this team has the chemistry to carry them through adversity, but I know CPJ will do what he thinks is necessary to win the game. The offense will get the job done.

But the rain will hurt Duke, because of their reputation as "Wide Reciever U" :wink:

What matters against GT is whether or not you can hold them to three or four straight plays of less than 10 yards total. If the GT TO offense starts from its own 15, 'clicks' a play for 25 yards to the 40 and then punts from its own 45 yard line or fails to convert a 4th down from your own 48 yard line or something like that, that's a BIG, BIG win.

Apparently stringing together 3 or 4 plays in which you prevent the other team from gaining 10 yards is a recipe for winning football games. Who knew?

Prediction based on my 2013 experience, there will be a douche bag puke fan standing on the track behind our visiting section yelling profanities and saying "mark richt's your daddy" because obviously when his team hadn't beaten us in 10 years that's all he had. Since they beat us last year and we beat the mutts, it may change the verbiage but the same douche will be there talking öööö. I'm sure he took advantage of the "win free Duke football tickets promotion" they have at Wallace wade where people who show up wearing anything with Duke on it get in free. He will also take the shirt that got him in off as soon as he enters the gate to expose his hairy beer gut
 
Duke defense is pretty good, Thomas Sirk won't be able to beat us with his arm. 28-10 GT
