Wow he never had less than 9 wins. Also won 4 bowl games and tied or won their division 4 times in 7 years. I don't see how this could be a good move.
Luginbill said average Nebraska recruit is from 900 miles away for last class, ouchJesus ööööing Christ, who would want to coach here now with how low security and lee way a coach has?

No wonder Pelini made so many shots at the AD and his haters.....This is beyond ridiculous
Lol
Move from Atlanta to Omaha
I don't see CPJ doing that especially considering our recent success
How long is the commute from Omaha to Lincoln?
The second-most boring hour-long stretch of interstate highway you'll ever drive. (After I-29 between Fargo and Grand Forks.)How long is the commute from Omaha to Lincoln?
Richt to Nebraska.

Huskers Rivals site lists him as a candidate. I didn't know he was born in Omaha.

Still think it's a stretch seeing as his whole coaching career has been in the southeast. Upgrade or lateral move? maybe an easier path to the playoff?
How does somebody born in Omaha move to a small town in the Carolina mountains? I always figured CPJ's ancestors was some Scots-Irish who lived in Appalachia since the 1700's. And probably a direct descendant of William Wallace. Not the Mel Gibson sanitized version, but the real version that wore the flesh of his enemies as belts into battle. THAT William Wallace.
Richt, not Johnson.
Oops. At least my William Wallace narrative stays intact.
BTW, the move doesn't make much sense unless it's a pure cash grab. How have Nebraska's recruiting classes compared to ours? That would be the only thing that CPJ might move for, where recruiting would be easier. But it's still hard to implement the system. Our 2009 team didn't even implement the system that well, just had a lot of talent. CPJ would be taking 3 steps back as far as success just to maybe take five steps forward in a few years.
I know you're just being sarcastic, but honestly he showed ZERO emotion when they scored that TD with 18 seconds left, and really acted like they just lost the game. Really blew my mind, because this is a guy that usually shows Les Miles emotion.
