Michigan beat them solidly. How in the hell does Michigan start the season with East Carolina, UNLV, Bowling Green, and Rutgers?

Anyway. Two senior QB's with a bit of size to them, both 6'3" 225 lbs. Decent size across the offensive line. No real tall WR's, all 6' to 6'2". TE is 6'5", 255.

Defense plays a 3-4, it appears. Nobody over 300 lbs on the defense. DL on the 3-4 averages 283. I figure they rely heavily on LB's to create chaos in lanes, they average about 230 there. Safeties and corners seem smallish. We should have our way with their defense

We should. I worry that we win, but don't have the second string in for most of the second half. We need to get there. Miami has a bye so they are resting and planning for GT this week and next

You worry too much. Key will be able to rest starters by middle 3rd qtr. Whether he does or not, who knows?

They’re giving up 34 ppg and scoring 12 ppg. Lost by double digits to Liberty and Ohio U. Ohio’s QB was 14/16 for 196 yds. Ohio returned two fumbles for TDs. BG trailed 24-0 at halftime on their home field.

Bad bad bad. 42-14 or better.

He absolutely will, if the game is in hand, and it should be if our defense plays similar to the Wake game.

Plus, if we bring Pyron in during the 3rd, we will be giving big doses of the run game to them, and Pyron is good at the QB run. Get a big lead and run the damn clock out and prep for Miami is what we need

I'm a GT fan. I wish we were a stomp out the opposition program, but I am a GT fan. I am gun shy. I've sat through Furman, MTSU, Citadel games.....

What do we know? Hell, they don't even know where their name came from.

Whatever you do, don't pick us to cover. The line will be ridiculous, and I'm sure half of our practice periods will be devoted to Miami. Look ahead game, for sure.

Just looked. 24, actually that might not be too bad.

How did they pick a Falcon as their mascot when they could have had this guy?

Prepping for Miami should prep us for BG. I do like our linebacker spying the QB. That was a huge change from the prior two games. QB's had been scrambling wild on us. I figure BG will have some QB draw plays in the plan, if they scouted our first few games.

I expect our offense to just run and pass roughshod over them. The only offense I can see them generating will be short passes, maybe to the TE, and some QB runs. Their starting RB is a bowling ball, 5'9", 225. Not sure how good he is.

Good hockey program. Ken Morrow (on the U.S. gold medal team in 80) played there, as did Dave Ellett, who was on the 93 Leafs team that got robbed against Gretzky's Kings. Still pissed about that. God that 93 Leafs team was fun to watch.

Not to be confused with Bowling Green, Kentucky, home to Western Kentucky and the Bowling Green Purples (that's the high school. I know this because I got dragged to the Kentucky state high school football championships one year. They play them before Thanksgiving, so I saw Bowling Green vs. Covington Catholic and Boone County vs. Louisville-Trinity in Shawn Alexander's last high school game. Also went to the Kentucky Sweet 16 at Corrupt Arena and that was balls).
So I know far too much about Bowling Green, Kentucky, and not much about Bowling Green, Ohio.
Do know BGSU just got housed by Ohio this past weekend. So there's that.

Virginia last year. Sure, we could lose to BG. Coaches will stress it’s a must win game and that there’s plenty to correct from Wake game (missed open field tackles, penalties high on the list). Miss and Lville losses are still pretty fresh. Guessing our players still think they have something to prove.
