Bowling Green, what do we know?

bleh this is why I dont reply on mobile..

Michigan forced a ton against bg.

JJ had like a 90% completion percentage prior to that game and threw three picks so that score is a bit misleading as it should have been 40ish to 6.

BG really likes to get tricky against opponents that are much better so coach special teams up.

I also think 22-23 points is really solid line for them.

I watched a bit of the Bowling Green weekly presser. HC Loeffler says they have the talent to beat almost anyone, that there are 5-6 teams in CFB who are really separated from the rest and it is pretty equal otherwise. He did call out our #88 (Biggers) as a concern - iirc. Said we did well in the portal.

Anyway, somebody got out for the season during the Michigan game, don't know who, for them. One of the QB's is returning from a concussion. The other QB struggled last week, but sounds like he is fighting through some injuries too.

Sounds like he believes they can win the ballgame if they clean things up, but he wasn't cocky about it. He wasn't thrilled about travelling to play GT between conference games, was unhappy about scheduling this season, but said they have to play who they are scheduled to play.

We need to show them that we are a hell of a lot better than Michigan and close it out quick.

He's probably starting to feel the hot seat at this point at BG. He's in his 4th season and is 12-26 overall. They did make a bowl game last year and finished 6-7, but the beatdown from Ohio last week was a bad loss. He seems to be suggesting that the failures are not about his recruiting or his coaching, but all about the kids not being focused. Sounds like he's expecting a loss and needs to get his excuses in order.

I'd like to know if Blackstrain is gonna get to see the field. Coach said in yesterday's presser he gets a bit of work when he was talking about the injured guys and some of the underclassmen

The tech depth charts are mostly garbage. They have regularly listed injured players that don’t even dress in the two deep. I don’t think anyone on staff spends more than two minutes of time on them unless it’s updating something obvious like when birr took over as kicker. Dontaes been an OR for the entire season. Not giving away nothing to the opponent. The way it should be.

Depth charts are for fans. He could start Biggers at RB, if he wanted.
