Bowling Green, what do we know?

I would hope we go to our bench by the 2nd half. What I don't want to see is King take risks on his feet. Let Pyron play the whole 2nd half with the 2nd and 3rd teamers. I think that would warrant that we be up by at least 30 by half time. Defense needs to have another strong showing with a sound rotation of players in the 1st and 2nd levels.

BG ranked #12 in this weeks Bottom25 .. Give the points and take the over

I'm struggling to find any meaning to this game

Let's just play the 2nd and 3rd string not show Miami anything and who cares if we lose?

No conference implications really and if we need that game for a bowl it's a öööö bowl anyway

Whatever you do, don't pick us to cover. The line will be ridiculous, and I'm sure half of our practice periods will be devoted to Miami. Look ahead game, for sure.
I wondered about that.Maybe first 2 days on uM then last days on BG?

I don't know, but I'm guessing BG runs the typical shotgun/pistol offense most teams we play run, only with less skilled players. I figure we identify their playmakers and their defensive weaknesses and tendencies and then go whip their ass.

Your link is broken.

Watched some of their game with Ohio. They use a shotgun formation. Bazelak not the most accurate passer, tended to throw behind his targets. Did take off running a few times but not the most mobile QB. They have an RB, #4, broke some tackles for long runs. Short, shifty runner with a low center of gravity. Kinda Barry Sanders running style.

We are 2-2. We face 3 bottom 25 teams on the remaining schedule. We have to close that out 3-0.
Two more unranked teams plus ranked unc and Miami. I’m not sure there is a huge difference in those 4, but we should take at least one of those games.
uga is not in our league right now.

Key probably feels he has a lot of sloppiness to clean up after last week (thanks refs).

I bet the team comes out sharp on Saturday. Not expecting a letdown performance.

BG's starting QB, Connor Bazelak, is a 2x transfer (Mizzou -> Indiana, Indiana -> Bowling Green). He's thrown 3 TDs and 5 INTs this season. The 3 TDs were all against Eastern Illinois (FCS). He's played 1 full game so far (vs Ohio U - 0 TDs, 2 INTs). Hasn't thrown a TD against an FBS opponent.
Has a 2x+ transfer QB ever worked out for anybody? Struggling to think of any good ones.

Michigan beat them solidly. How in the hell does Michigan start the season with East Carolina, UNLV, Bowling Green, and Rutgers?

Anyway. Two senior QB's with a bit of size to them, both 6'3" 225 lbs. Decent size across the offensive line. No real tall WR's, all 6' to 6'2". TE is 6'5", 255.

Defense plays a 3-4, it appears. Nobody over 300 lbs on the defense. DL on the 3-4 averages 283. I figure they rely heavily on LB's to create chaos in lanes, they average about 230 there. Safeties and corners seem smallish. We should have our way with their defense

Michigan forced a lot in that game. Bowling green just couldn’t take afvant
They got my attention with a good first half at Michigan, down 13-7. I think it ended up 34-7.
mcarthty forced a ton of passes in that Michigan game as well. Should have been a few more scores but Michigan just couldn’t stop turning the ball over
