Bowls, CFP, and other Disappointing Games Thread

Seriously? Perhaps you've heard of Riley Leonard? I'd say they developed him pretty well.
You have a point. I was thinking he was a transfer. The guy last night didn't do half bad for his first start, maybe second start. Defense was the issue.

Ole Kirb's statement about the head officials information is quite hilarious, because those SEC officials had a knack for getting lots of obvious calls wrong.

I think people are misinterpreting him. He's saying that SEC officials told him that it would be illegal if they had been assigned to the game. Which is likely true. The calls that SEC officials make has a higher correlation with what makes their employer money than it does with what is in the rulebook.

Indeed.

So per reports, no likely changes coming to the CFP process in 2025. Sankey has nothing he can use to force changes after the past 2 weeks.

The more the number of teams in the playoffs the less advantage SEC and Big 10 will have. It should always be a number where there are no
byes. If people are going to make judgement calls on who some of the teams included then a higher number of participants will help all the
teams who are not part of the club.

I basically agree that 16 is better and also think that along with no byes, there should be no home field advantage.
