Bowls, CFP, and other Disappointing Games Thread

In 1977 Dan Devine ran up score to 69-14 over GT
this lead to the fish game the following year.
I hope Pedo State can defeat the irish by this score
The fish game was against Ara Parseghian in 1967. The Devine game was the bottle game, where students were throwing bottles at him from the upper east deck. Terrible and dangerous thing to do, but, to be honest, he deserved it.

maybe there were two fish incidents?
I was in the student section in 1978 when Devine and Notre Dame were pelted with dead fish as they approached the sideline before the game started... ND and Devine moved to the end zone. We were penalized at kickoff. After halftime Devine and ND returned to the sideline (in front of the student section) which was when bottles were thrown because everyone was out of fish.I didn't notice if some were from upper deck but did notice that some came from behind where i was sitting. Along with bottles, there were drinks and paper cups tossed from the student section that day.....Rudy was offsides in 75. I still hate Notre Dame.I don't think Pepper Rogers shook his hand in 75.

Four more teams this year would’ve added Alabama, South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Miami.
so a team that lost to Kentucky at home, one that lost to Vandy, one that lost to both of the first 2, and one that lost to us.

Going down that far just gets into the huge mess of "can beat almost anybody, can lose to almost anybody" teams

The 1978 game started with fish but ended up with bottles. The 1967 game was only fish. I was at both games. Back then seniors and grad students sat in the upper east, so yes, some of the bottles came from there. The 1967 game was mostly funny, although still somewhat dangerous, there was nothing funny about the bottles at all.
