Actually, if you kick it higher than 7feet off the ground this becomes less of an issue. Can he kick it through people? Because we could really use a kicker who can kick it through people.

No one is more grateful for a good kicker more than us
Just wait until you see the response to our punting next year. The emotional swing from Harrison Butker to what we’ve seen for 2 years was too much. I’d be happy with consistent mediocre+ kicking for a decade

Spoken like someone who has had great punting.I agree, bad punting is less of a liability than bad kicking. Harvin was a great weapon though.
Looks healthy to me:
Cimaglia
sounds very sexually transmitted
Agree but all it takes is one last kick before he's not.
probably worth at least +1 wins .. maybe 2.
How many times did we punt or go for it in 4th down and fail in plus territory this season? Having a good kicking game takes some pressure off the offense to score TDs every drive, and also can allow play calling to change. You can't just look at it as adding 3-6 net points to each game.our margin of defeat was more than 20 points per game last year
take out the Clemson loss and it's still 18 points per game.
he'll help.
but it's gonna take more than a competent kicker to get past 3 wins.
