Bunch of poons

Ok. Other than UCF (a game they lost), who does USF play that is comparable to Tennessee’s P5 competition?

2017: Houston (lost), Texas Tech (won), Illinois (won)
2016: Syracuse (won), FSU (lost), Navy (won), UCF (won), South Carolina (won)

It is completely reasonable to think that USF could have beaten South Carolina, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt last year, which are all games Tennessee lost. Vanderbilt beat the öööö out of Tennessee.

I think usf would win 7 games if they played our schedule (I think we'll win 7 also). Just because they aren't in a p5 conference doesn't mean they are not as talented as most p5 teams. Would you bet on uva, unc, wake, or hell, even FSU against them if they played this week? They are a solid team. We should have beat them by two touchdowns and we definitely have things to be concerned with but saying we lost to a non p5 team doesn't really change anything in my mind. That's like saying we lost to Syracuse but they are p5 so it's ok.

Pretty sad state for the program, when we praise a non power 5 conf. foe, what does that mean we have become.
Pretty sad state for you to be the one that keeps Cindy from being the stupidest poster on the board.

Can we just agree that USF is good enough to beat the majority of P5 teams, but also weak enough that we should have beaten them? Exactly HOW good isn't really relevant.

Point is, there shouldn't be anything embarrassing about losing that game to a decent team, but at the same time, it's the type of game we have to win to get the program where we want it to go. We'll play several more teams that are roughly of that caliber this year, and we need to beat all of them.

Mods closed the other thread, but I couldn’t let this go unanswered.

We’ve beaten VPISU three of the last four years.
How does our overall record compare for say the last 8 years and when did they not go to a bowl, i think they have made a bowl every year since 1994

Our record against them is 3-5 over the past 8 years, but to insinuate that we don’t compete at their level is disingenuous.

Okay head to head we are 3-5 , a losing record, how many cupcakes have they wet the bed playing during those years, along with a top 20 ranking several of those years

So what. **ck Vt and their ridiculous mascot and their tier 3 school that extorted its' way into the conference. They can eat a sh** sandwich of our taint. Over the history of CFB, they can't even sniff our jock, much less hold it. Get off my lawn!

Uhhh......wut?

If you lose to a team you should have beaten, how can you not be embarrassed?
