Either way theres a direct tradeoff between seeing progress across the field or progress up and down the field.

I enjoy seeing the blocking and route running. Looking at how wide the splits are. Seeing where the DL is going to try to shoot gaps. Plus, hovering directly over the top of red zone plays on the north end.
 
If anyone cares, the best place to watch a hockey game is midway up a corner of the rink

Been watching football all day today and also last night. 90% of the game is shown from the sideline. Only time a backfield view is consistently used is in goal line situations.

Particularly with our offense, I really think the end zone seats are best. It’s great to see the play open up as the players do.
 
ESPN reports some UT's commits have bailed in light of Butch's firing. Of note —
Under Armour All-America Game wide receiver Alontae Taylor, No. 46 in the Class of 2018, officially decommitted Sunday after Jones was fired. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound playmaker was wavering in recent weeks with the uncertainty surrounding Jones' future in Knoxville.
Among the schools in contention for Taylor include Georgia, Alabama, Louisville, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech and Notre Dame.
