Just for öööös and giggles, I wanted to see how Jeff Sims stacked up with the QBs he called out! Interesting he left off the Goose...But here we Go:Sims is the best quarterback in GT history, with Hamilton, Shawn Jones, Justin Thomas, Nesbitt, and Donnie Davis.
There is no ceiling with Sims potential. He showed in Tallahassee Sept 2020 he is a game changer and a winner - He will be invited to a Heisman ceremony before he is drafted first round in April 2025.

Not sure that would be fair to Jeff Sims. Shawn Jones was winning the Natty in his sophomore season. Joe Hamilton was the MVP of the of the Modern Day Cheez It Bowl ( I think it was the carquest or hertz bowl back then) and then he went on a crazy run that put him in the College HOF. J. Nesbitt won the ACC in 2009 his Redshirt Sophomore year or second season as QB for GT and JT5 was OB MVP during his sophomore campaign after leading the Jackets to an 11 win season and finishing the season as a top 10 team. I just do not think it is a fair comparison to Jeff, I mean up to this point it has not been his fault that we have had crappy coaches. I think after this year we will know where he stands, I hope he is just not shell shocked from the first two seasons. I think it is pretty amazing he didn't leave with Gibbs.Probably better to compare Sims‘ stats to the freshman and sophomore years for the other guys, but I appreciate the data gathering.
Just wanted to circle back around and respond to the thread title — No

Thread necromancy sucks.
Sims is gone and the clown is gone. Just let it go and move on.
